This pretty tote is perfect for every lady who appreciates carrying a stylish bag with lots of pockets to hold her essentials! It makes a great diaper bag too.

✄ ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

These very easy instructions are great for those with at least basic sewing skills. It has two exterior pocket topped with elastic casings to keep your favorite items secure yet easy to reach. There are also instructions for two different types of interior pockets - a simple patch pocket or a hidden zipper pocket for more advanced sew-ers. 

✄ REQUIRED MATERIALS:
½ yard exterior focus fabric
5/8 yard coordinating fabric for exterior pockets
1 ¼ yard coordinating fabric for lining, straps and bottom
1 ¼ yards fusible fleece interfacing (I like Pellon brand 987F)
1 package 5/8” wide elastic
1 button measuring between 1 ¼” to 2” (a button with a shank will work best for this project)
disappearing ink pen
1 safety pin (to pull the elastic through the casing)
12” zipper (optional – if making the zipper pocket)
